The Living Quarters

Since I don’t start teaching class for another two weeks, I have been filling up my time by being very neat and tidy in my new apartment in Machida. Wanna see?

My favorite colors! Loving the couch.
the kitchen
My roomie-room.
Meet Crumpet and The Green Alpaca.
You can’t escape Hello Kitty in this country.
My favorite board game! In Japanese and English, of course. Who wants to play?
I can see my school just beyond my laundry.

My bike! Meet Patricia.
My new home for the next two years is nestled in this lovely Pepto Bismol-colored building. Welcome to Obirin Coope.

The school is literally across the street. The grocery store is a 5 minute bike from here. 10 minutes on bike to get to the nearest train station, public library, and a big park, and one minute on foot to the nearest bus stop. I think I will like it here.
