*This was an exchange between a couple of Julie’s and Cory’s students when Anabel and I visited in February. This moment was a highlight of my time in Jogja. (We didn’t get to climb Mt. Merapi, but we did try nasi gudeg, Jogja’s signature dish of jackfruit and beef. A treat!)
